Baobang Electric is a 150kW maglev high-speed ORC generator developed by the 71st Research Institute of China Shipbuilding Corporation. It has been officially launched and tested. This is the first maglev generator applied in the marine field in China, and its performance indicators meet the requirements of use and can adapt to the complex environment and working conditions of the offshore industry.
Organic Rankine cycle power generation (ORC) utilizes the low boiling point characteristics of organic working fluids, utilizing the potential energy generated by the temperature difference between cold and heat sources at medium to low temperatures (80-300 ℃), to drive the expander to rotate and drive the generator to generate electricity, converting low-grade thermal energy into high-grade electrical energy, and achieving waste heat energy recovery. The application of magnetic levitation generators in ORC systems has the characteristics of high power generation efficiency, energy conservation and environmental protection, and long maintenance free life. It is considered one of the main development directions for future power generation and has good application prospects.

The core equipment of this project is a magnetic levitation high-speed generator independently developed by Baobang Electric, with a power of 150kW, a voltage of 400V, and a maximum speed of 22000r/min. It applies low loss magnetic levitation bearings and high-speed permanent magnet power generation technology, which has higher energy conversion efficiency; Adopting PLC+5G technology, real-time access to system status is achieved through central control, mobile terminals, and other means to achieve "full lifecycle management".
Baobang Electric focuses on the research and development and manufacturing of high-power and ultra high-speed magnetic levitation motors, and is committed to expanding the application of magnetic levitation motors in fields such as blowers, compressors, organic Rankine cycle (ORC) waste heat utilization generators, distributed gas turbine generators, and flywheel energy storage. It helps achieve efficient energy utilization in the industrial field and is committed to becoming a great enterprise exploring the future of industry.
