Heavy news: The first marine ORC magnetic levitation generator has successfully passed the acceptance

On the afternoon of November 8, the marine class 150 kW ORC magnetic levitation generator developed by our company for a research institute of CSSC successfully passed the user acceptance, and its performance parameters were better than the design requirements in an all-round way, reaching the domestic advanced level. Project background: Under the policy guidance of “3060” carbon target, industrial energy-consuming enterprises pay unprecedented attention to the cascade utilization of energy. The energy utilization rate in China is only about 33%, which is about 10% lower than that in developed countries. At least 50% of industrial energy consumption is directly discarded by various forms of waste heat, resulting in great energy waste. ORC power generation, as a new technology of waste heat recovery and utilization, can realize energy recovery of heat sources below 200℃, is a hot product of energy cascade utilization, and has great strategic value for the goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality”.
